Trekking Mount Lawu

Located just in Central and East Java boundaries, Mt. Lawu (3.265 m a.s.l) is a stratovolcano with its last explosion recorded in 1885. An active crater can still be seen on its slope while two
15th century temples – Candi Sukuh and Candi Cetho – are found on the foot of Mt. Lawu as well as mausoleum of 2nd President of Republic of Indonesia. The perfect hiking destination to combine natural, archaelogical and historical sites.

Day 01.Solo – Cemorosewu

Arrival at Adi Sumarmo International airport Solo, you will be met by our guide and transferred to Cemorosewu mountain resort on the foot of Mt. Lawu. On the way stop at Sukuh and Ceto temple. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02.Cemorosewu – Summit – Shelter 5

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the gate of Mt. Lawu and start trekking at 8 a.m. Lunch break at shelter 3 and proceed to shelter 4, shelter 5, Sendang Derajat water spring and Argo Dalem grave before reaching the highest peak of Argo Dumilah. Then climb down to shelter 5 for dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 03.Shelter 5 – Cemorosewu – Solo

​Breakfast at campsite. Down to Cemorosewu and drive to Solo. City tour visiting to Sultan Palace and Batik market. After lunch transfer airport for your onward flight.
